DETACHED HOUSE EXTENSION

Before engaging with an architect and a builder, the owner wanted ideas of what could be done with the volume available above his garage.
I made him proposals for a 1 bedroom apartment and a studio for rental.

Brief

•  unit most easily rented via airbnb
•  accessible from the main building in order to benefit from an additional bedroom when the apartment is not rented
• respect the width of 3m50
• carefully keep a storage space accessible from the garden
